Breaking Through the Wall Around Us

Ask any athlete. He'll tell you that!  He's pushed his body to what can be called the maximum. His side and body has hurt. His lungs would have ached, and probably had cramps in his legs. And just when he felt like he couldn't go on, he's heard his coach saying, "Come on! Move it! Get going !!"

Athletes call that "hitting the wall." It's a time when the body says, "That's it. That's all I can do. I can't go any further. I can't go any faster. I quit."

I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. - [Philippians 4:13]

But the seasoned athlete knows that "the wall" isn't the end. It's a signal that he's on the verge of a breakthrough. If he'll toughen up and push himself a little more, he'll get a second wind. Suddenly, he'll go faster than before. He'll reach a level of excellence he couldn't have reached any other way.

Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God

Grieve a nature that brings pain and at times, depression or revolt and opposition. We in our life would have grieved many people, either by our thought, words or behavior. We never look back on how they would have felt or how they would response. The base behind all these is our SELF. We are more important than the one who we respond. One and only one reason we grieve other, is to prove we were correct and build a nature of no forgiveness or understanding others. The moment we try to give importance to others and their views, and more specifically put ourselves in their shoe we will understand the impact that Grieve will produce.

Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption
Ephesians 4:30

My God My Rock, will transform our lives

Rock... is referred to when we speak of mountains, strong personality, stable and unbreakable element. House build on rock are stronger, which can withstand any nature. As the psalmist says, Praise to my Rock. How is this rock? This is clearer if we see the initial word of this verse, which talks about Lord. Lord God, creator of the nature and all that is in it, is the one who is being referred to as the Rock.

The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be my God, the Rock, my Savior
2 Samuel 22:47
