What Must We Do?

Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
[John 6: 28-29]

How often have we asked this question with a sincere intention to know it?
"What is the work God requires?" is a question we all should ask with a sincere intention, to make sure we fulfill the plan that our Lord has for us. If we ask a similar question to our superior is a normal secular work environment, we have to be ready to get some set of instruction which is accompanied with rules and deadlines. In end we may feel that it was our mistake and fooloshness to have asked such question. This nature of response makes our heart hard to ask such question in future to anyone. This may stop our ability and capacity and also reduce the expectation of others from us.

Word Becoming Flesh

And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us;
[John 1:14]

In my view, this is one of the most important verses in the Bible with respect to the existence of Christ and who Christ is. This reference is one among the other well known verses in the book of Apostle John. Apostle John in this one verse is trying to explain who Christ is, what is the link between with God and God's mission with Christ coming to this world.

There are 3 words which come above others words in this verse. These are Word, Flesh and Lived. All these are very common word but when these came into a series in this verse under context, this highlighted the most important message about the Who is Christ. Word is the word of God, through which the entire universe and its creation including us were created. With just the word was all these made… how wonderful yet powerful concept.

Christ is Life... is Light

In Him (Christ) was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.
[John 1:4]

Life is very precious to all of us, and we have our own plans and thinking on how to make it the best in this world. in this fast life we tend to loose the purpose and destiny we all should keep in mind every time, which is that this life that we enjoy and say our is the life which is given to us from our Lord. He is our creator, and without him there is no Life in our Life. If we see the reference verse taken from John chapter 1 verse 4, we can see that apostle John highlights Christ to be the life or In Christ was life. If we can understand this text we can very well also interpret what is life...
